North-South University is a private higher education institution in Bangladesh. Founded in 1992, the university is the first government-approved private university in the country. It is located in the Bashundhara residential area of Baridhara in Dhaka city.

At present, the university has 10 departments under 4 faculties. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, administration, electrical and telecommunication, computer science and engineering, architecture, pharmacy, law, microbiology, economics, English, and environmental science.
